It’s been a very long, stressful day. So this is what I did to cool down this evening.

Now that I see what it looks like on the wall, I think I’m going to have to do some things to better hang and display it.

I’m thinking black foam core behind the open spaces, because the shadows are more distracting than I thought they would be. Also currently it is hung by a wire across two wall hooks. I think I might drill holes in the backs of the headlight buckets and mount it directly to the wall instead.

Get some philips hue or other color chang ing smart bulbs to put in the headlights. Could be some nice accent lighting (though having a cord coming from it might not be ideal).

I have a couple H4 housings I might put in, if I can figure out how to install them (the rings that actually hold the headlights into the buckets are missing).

London, late 2009, went to a museum and there was a Saab on the wall. They should take it down and drive it ...

You can do other things. Normal lighting, ambient lighting for movies/games, just feeling like you want a color, wake up lighting (if in a bedroom).

A black backdrop would help a lot. Altho is personal go with a amdark red or brown

May I suggest getting some cheap headlight assemblies and wiring it up to light it up as a lamp? :)
